Step 01: Mix together one tablespoon each of bentonite clay and activated charcoal powder. Slowly add two tablespoons of apple cider vinegar to the powders and keep stirring while you do so.
Step 02: Continue stirring until the mixture turns into a runny paste and then apply it to your entire hair and scalp.
Step 03: Ensure that your hair is completely dry when applying this hair mask and then cover your head with a shower cap.
Step 04: Allow the mask to sit for about 30 minutes before rinsing the mask off with lukewarm water.
Step 05: Next, shampoo your hair using a clarifying shampoo and don’t forget to apply concealer.
Ingredient benefits
Activated charcoal: Using activated charcoal in hair mask is a great way to thoroughly get rid of dirt and grease. The detoxifying properties of charcaol help to purify the scalp and leave it squeaky clean, allowing your follicles to breathe normally. Additionally, activated charcoal is very beneficial when it comes to boosting hair growth.
Apple cider vinegar: ACV is packed with a lot of hair loving ingredients and helps detoxify the scalp when used either in a hair mask or as a hair rinse. Enriched with active ingredients, vitamins, mineral salts and amino acids, apple cider vinegar nourishes and protects hair to keep it healthy and strong. The anti-inflammatory, antifungal and antibacterial properties too inhibit fungal growth, unclog pores and thoroughly clean scalp to get rid of greasy hair.
