HOW TO TAME FRIZZ USING A CONDITIONER
When you have frizzy hair, bad hair days just seem like an everyday situation. No matter how much you try to press down and tuck away frizzy hair, these unrelenting stray strands refuse to settle. This actually means your hair is in dire need of moisture and let’s face it—multiple factors in the environment can cause frizzy hair to become further dehydrated and dry. Want to tame your tresses? Here’s what you need to do…

Understand your hair

Conditioning is the key

Agreed that conditioner is the answer to tame frizzy hair but you need to understand your hair in order to care for it well. Your hair gets tangled when the frayed edges of the cuticle layer get caught up in one another. Conditioning tames tangles and frizzy hair by enveloping each cuticle with a protective layer. This causes the cuticle layers to smoothen and settle down.

Wash it right

Conditioning is the key

It’s imperative to wash your hair with the right products in order to tame the frizziness. In times of crises, our favourite is the Dove Intense Repair range. This range comprises the shampoo and conditioner, both of which contain Keratin actives that help strengthen hair protein at a cellular level so that there’s no frizz and breakage.

Once you have the product in place, you must know how to condition your hair perfectly. First, squeeze out the water from your hair after shampooing. Then pour a coin sized dollop of conditioner on your palm. Apply conditioner from the mid lengths of your hair till the end and not on your scalp. If your hair is prone to more damage at the ends, ensure that you apply more conditioner at the ends and keep it for longer. Leave the conditioner on for 3-5 minutes and then wash with cold water.
