Wavy hair seem perfect—soft waves, no frizz, just the right amount of wavy! Plus, wavy hair is also easily manageable! And while girls would kill to have a mane like yours, only you know how difficult it gets when it comes to styling those stubborn wavy strands. They can hold neither straightening or curling and come back to their own wavy texture. Are we right?
If you’re nodding in agreement, we’ve got some useful tips to make sure your wavy tresses hold on to the styling, because that’s what we do.
- 1. Do it on third-day hair
- 2. To condition or not to condition
- 3. Styling cream
- 4. Heat protectant
- 5. Finish with a Spritz
1. Do it on third-day hair

One common mistake is to style your hair right after hair wash. It’s best to style your hair 2-3 days after your hair wash. The oils from scalp make hair grittier that helps it hold the heat.
2. To condition or not to condition

It’s important to plan, when you will use the conditioner according to the style you want. If you’re going for straightening, use a conditioner after hair wash. Try Sunsilk Perfect Straight Lock Nourishing Conditioner. It will make you hair flat and smooth and straightening would last. If you’re going to curl, skip the conditioner.
3. Styling cream

Styling cream or mousse is a thickening product that removes some moisture from hair and makes it easier to hold the styling. Take a tiny amount and coat your hands and run your fingers through the underside of your hair.
4. Heat protectant

Don’t forget to apply a heat protectant before treating your hair with a styling tool. It will help protect hair from intent heat and hair damage. We suggest Toni&Guy Heat Protection Mist : High Temperature Protection.
5. Finish with a Spritz

Heat isn’t enough so make your straightening or curls last. As soon as hair comes in touch with a little moisture, it comes undone. Use a hairspray to keep styling in place and add texture and volume to your hair. Spritz some Toni&Guy Casual : Sea Salt Texturising Spray for holding curls and Toni&Guy Finishing Shine Spray for straight, shiny locks.
