Step 1

Prep step
For the perfect ballerina bun, you need a hair cleanser that makes your hair thick. We suggest going with the Sunsilk Lusciously Thick and Long Shampoo and Conditioner. This range is enriched with Keratin Yoghurt Nutria-Complex, which has the power to nourish your hair from the root to the tip. Blow dry or air dry your hair and then attempt the ballerina bun hairstyle.
Step 2

Brush your hair backwards
Brush your hair backwards to make sure your strands are behaving themselves. This step is to ensure that your hair is smooth while attempting the ballerina bun.
Step 3

Tie a ponytail
This is when you’re almost midway into the ballerina bun. Make sure all your strands are into the ponytail so the bun hairstyle looks neat.
Step 4

Twist the ponytail
This is when you twist the ponytail and then coil it to form a ballerina bun. If you have loose strands, make sure you use a serum to moisturise your tresses and make them frizz-free.
Step 5

Use U-pins
Secure your ballerina bun with U-pins because unlike the top knot, this one needs to be tightly put together and neatly done.
Step 6

Get ready to flaunt it
If you think your hair still looks frizzy, use a hair holding spray and allow your ballerina bun to stay put for as long as you want.
