Day 1: Pamper with a hair mask

Hair masks help in reducing damaged and frizzy hair. All you really have to do is mix one tablespoon of honey with one glass of milk and massage into your hair from root to tip. Honey is a natural humectant, which means it attracts moisture and its several antioxidants promote hair growth. Milk will also make your hair soft and help in keeping it conditioned.
Day 2: Oiling

We can’t keep stressing enough on the benefits of oiling your hair. When you massage oil into your scalp, it goes deep inside the hair cuticle and leaves your hair nourished from the root to tip. Use a natural oil like coconut or even olive oil and give yourself and massage for at least 15 minutes. Leave it on for at least 2 hours and then wash your hair with a nourishing product like the Dove Intense Repair range. The shampoo and conditioner both contain Keratin actives that help strengthen hair protein at a cellular level.
Day 3: Nourish with scalp scrubbing

A scalp scrubbing treatment helps you get rid of dead cells, product build-up and cleanses your scalp deeply. You need to make a homemade scrub and then rub it into your scalp and then let it stay for about ten minutes before you wash off.
Day 4: Choose a yoga asana

Yoga is not just beneficial for the body but it also helps your hair. The Uttanasana pose, which is the ‘forward bend pose’ allows your blood to circulate properly in your scalp leading to nourished hair. You can also try Sasangasana, Ustrasana and Vajrasana that will serve the same purpose.
Day 5: Steam your locks

Steaming helps in replenishing the moisture that the environment sucks out of your hair. When your hair cuticle opens thanks to the vapor, it eventually helps in absorbing the nutrients from a shampoo and conditioner into your hair. If you wish to steam your hair with a hot towel, soak the towel in hot water and wring it out. Wrap the warm towel around your head. Let it stay for at least 10 minutes and wash off.
