At the recent IIFA 2016 awards too, Deepika Padukone’s makeup made a statement and that was through her glorious smokey eye makeup which accented her Sabyasachi ensemble to perfection. If you’re coveting her look as well, we’re showing you just how you can steal her stunning smokey eyes.

Step 1
Use the Lakmé Absolute Kohl Ultimate to create short, thick strokes over the eyelid. Then, use the smudging end of the product to spread it. Do this swiftly before the kohl sets to create a base for the smokey eye.
Step 2
Dip a flat application brush in the black shade of the Lakmé Absolute Illuminating Silver Eye Shadow Palette and pat it over your eyelid, extending it to the corner of the eye. Take a narrower brush and apply the remaining shadow over your lower lash line.
Step 3
Dip a narrow blending brush in the greyish silver shade of the same palette and pat a small quantity of it into your crease. While applying, blend it with the black shadow seamlessly.
Step 4
Using the same brush, gently dust the remaining shadow on the centre of the eyelid for a slight sparkle on the eyelid.

Step 5
Line your lower waterline with the Lakmé Absolute Precision Eye Artist Kajal in black. Also apply it over your eyelid, close to your upper lash line.
Step 6
Dip the sponge applicator in the light silver shade of the same palette and dab it over the brow bone and slightly above your cheekbones to add a highlighted flair to the look.
Step 7
For the finishing touch of lush lashes, use the Lakmé Absolute Flutter Secrets Dramatic Eyes Mascara on your eyelashes.
