5 spring makeup looks we can't wait to try out

Spring is almost here and what better time than now to upgrade your makeup too. It’s time to bid adieu to berry-toned winter makeup looks, and welcome fun, bright and peppy ones with open arms. If you’re a beauty junkie looking for some spring makeup inspo, you’ve come to the right place. We’ve listed down five spring makeup looks that you need to ace right away.

If there’s one look that screams spring, it's this one. Resembling a candy floss sunset, this look is what dreams are made of. The subtle orange shade on the eyelids, overpowered by the lilac on the lower lash line paired with a red eyeshadow winged liner is just what we needed to snap out of winter like yesterday. The face has been bronzed to perfection to give the perfect sun-kissed look and what brings the look together is the nude lip gloss that is plumping the lips up while maintaining its subtlety!

Blush contour

2022 calls for unconventional uses of our favourite makeup products, so this spring let’s trade in our contour for blush. Yes, you heard that right. From runways to TikTok, the blush contour hack seems to be all the rage. Just apply blush wherever you usually apply your contour. You can also use the same blush shade as eyeshadow to get a monochrome look. Finish off the makeup with a nude pink gloss for an extra quirk.

Dual eyeshadow

Want to get out of a makeup rut? You need to try this two-toned eyeshadow look. You can achieve this look using any two colours of your liking. All you gotta do is apply the first shade on your eyelids and apply the second shade in your inner corners. Now, switch it up for the other eyelid and voila. You can either leave your lips bare or go for a subtle gloss (anyone else noticing a gloss pattern?) This look is serving us all the springtime quirk we wanted!

Euphoria eyes

Let’s agree that Euphoria looks are fire and we just can’t get enough. For this makeup look, do a classic winged liner and draw the liner beyond your inner corners for a cat-eyed look. Now, take your eyeliner and make three lines parallel to each other on your crease and slightly above the inner corners of your eyes. Finish off with a highlighter and a nude matte lip. This look is so fabulous and easy to recreate.

Not a fan of OTT looks? DW, we’ve got something for you too. Minimal glam is in and requires minimal efforts too. For this look, apply foundation with a stippling brush for an airbrushed effect. Contour and bronze your face to achieve the perfect sun-kissed look and apply blush on your cheekbones. Brush your eyebrows upwards and outwards to make them appear fuller. Apply a liquid highlighter on the high points of your face and seal the deal with a clear gloss. So easy and alluring-right?
