Anti-ageing properties
Strawberries, like many other fruits we know, are rich in antioxidants that slow down the breakage of collagen – the primary protein that’s responsible for the age of your skin. This means that the more strawberries you have, the more the chances of your skin looking younger.

Remedy for oily skin
Strawberries are also an excellent remedy for oily skin. Since they’re rich in Vitamin C, the acidic nature of the strawberry (when applied directly) to the skin, scrubs off the excess oil and sebum that give your skin that greasy shine and cause acne.

Lightening skin and dark spots
The reason why strawberries are such a common ingredient in face packs and masks is that they have both skin lightening as well as dark spot reducing properties owing to their ellagic acid content.

Strawberry for your skin
If your skin’s in need of a quick pick-me-up, cut a strawberry and rub it all over your face. Leave it on for about a minute or two and then rinse it off for skin that’s smoother, softer and less greasy. The alpha-hydroxy acid in the berry helps to get rid of dead skin cells instantly.

Prep your feet for summer and sandals season by applying a strawberry, olive oil and sea salt scrub on them. Massage it onto your feet, leave it on for about 20 minutes and rinse it off to get rid of all that dead skin.

If you’re looking to give your hair a natural boost, make a pack with a few strawberries and some mayonnaise and apply it on wet hair. Wrap it in a warm towel for about 15 minutes and then shampoo your hair as usual.
