1. Excessive hair loss

We’ve al experienced, or even still experience quite a bit of hair fall when we’re brushing our hair, and pass it off as normal. However, it’s important to note that the wrong products aren’t the sole causes of hair loss. If you notice a big chunk of hair left on your brush or comb, or see your pillow covered in hair after you wake up, then you could be suffering from alopecia, that’s quite a severe condition, and so, consulting a trichologist before your hair loss gets worse is a good idea.
2. Thinning hair
You once had locks that were as thick and voluminous as ever. However, you’ve started noticing that your hair is beginning to get thinner and thinner, really quickly. Don’t pass this off as something that happens with age—it could be a serious hair condition. Go on and visit a trichologist, if you aren’t able to fix this problem at home with a new shampoo or other home remedies. Don’t wait too long, however, as a trichologist will be able to provide you with a good prognosis, and you’ll be able to fix the problem before you start to go bald.
3. Too much dandruff

Dandruff is most often the by-product of a dry scalp. Almost all of us have suffered from a little dandruff at some point of time or the other. But, it’s important to make sure the situation doesn’t get out of hand. If you’re suffering from chronic dandruff, you’ll need to see a hair expert. This is because excessive dandruff is sometimes caused by eczema, or an overgrowth of yeast or fungus on your scalp.
4. Losing your eyelashes and eyebrows
Hair problems aren’t only limited to the hair on your head. Losing facial hair such as your eyelashes and eyebrows is also quite a serious problem—it could be a sign of alopecia. If you notice your eyebrows or eyelashes falling out, waste no time and head straight to a trichologist, as it’s much easier to combat the problem at its early stages, than when it has progressed.
5. Patchiness
Suddenly notice some bald spots and patches on your scalp? If you do, and don’t do anything about it, you stand a good chance of going bald. By taking this problem to a trichologist, you’ll have a better idea of what the problem is, and how to fix it, and will avoid losing your beautiful locks.
