1. Black eyeliner

Stark-black eyeliner is set to steal the show in 2018. Thick lines of black eyeliner around both, the top and bottom lash lines were seen on the models at the Marc Jacobs, and a couple of other runway shows. This look is nothing short of dramatic, and looks like it’s going to dominate the new year.
2. Golden glitter
Glitter is going to make a comeback in 2018, and we couldn’t be more excited! Glitter, especially golden glitter, has been a recent favourite on the runway. When Rihanna launched pure-gold highlighter, this trend took the beauty world by storm, and we saw beauty bloggers, editors, and dozens of celebrities rock makeup trend. Still a big hit, golden glittery makeup doesn’t look like it’s going anywhere, and is all set to become a huge trend in 2018.
3. Rhinestones

We aren’t talking about rhinestones on your clothes—we’re referring to rhinestones used as makeup. Rhinestones, a 2000’s favourite, has suddenly resurfaced, and is a hot trend in the world of makeup. Besides rhinestones, models on the runway are being seen with sequins, and other sparkly stuff glued to their eyelids with lash glue.
4. Inner Circles
In the past, us, as well as renowned makeup artists, would opt for nude shades to brighten up in the corners of our eyes. However, this doesn’t seem to be the case anymore. To add a pop of colour to the eyes, makeup artists have decided to add coloured pigment to the inner corners of the eyes. Colours like pink, baby blue, or even yellow, have proven to be great highlighters. It’s the simple, yet effective nature of this look that’ll make it a hit in 2018.
5. Glowing, dewy skin

Like we said before, 2018 looks like it’s going to be the year of shine. Lately, extra-highlighted skin has been doing rounds in the makeup universe—even Kareena Kapoor Khan was seen donning this ethereal look at the very recent Lux Golden Rose Awards. Although really shiny, this magical look is one of our favourites.
6. Metallic lips
Shiny lips, that almost look metallic, are going to be a huge trend in 2018. This look doesn’t call for a special lipstick, though. It can be achieved by wearing your favourite shade of lipstick, and then applying some glitter over it for some extra shine.
