BB: What can we expect to see from your collection at the grand finale this time?
Anamika: Structured clothes! We’re trying to give Sculpt our own meaning by keeping the Indian tradition alive in our garments. Edgy and bold, it’ll be more about pushing the boundaries by playing around with Indian crafts.
BB: How will your designs reflect the Sculpt aesthetic?
Anamika: My colour palette ranges from whites to ivories and gun metal with a splash of pastels in fabrics like muslin and organza. Bright Sculpt lipsticks would lend a bold and striking contrast taking my collection to a whole new level balancing fluidity and structure.
BB: Sculpt for Indian features. What’s your take?
Anamika: Indian women are blessed with perfect jaw lines and sharp features. Sculpt is a reinvention with moistened and vibrant matte lipsticks that are made to give more definition to the face. I can’t think of anyone else but our very own Indian actor Kareena Kapoor! Her high cheekbones and sharp features will do justice to the Sculpt range.
BB: When it comes to fashion, what are the key investment pieces every girl should own?
Anamika: Whether it’s clothes or accessories, classics never go out of style! A jacket and sari are must haves for every Indian woman in colours like black, white and ivory.
BB: Your favourite pieces from your own wardrobe?
Anamika: Capes and dhoti pants are very versatile as one easily can take them from morning to evening. I am very partial to kanjivaram saris; they are my go-to for any Indian occasion.
