Play with accessories
Look stylish by incorporating a pop of colour to your outfit with accessories.
Use a brightly coloured bag and shoes to rev up an otherwise neutral outfit.
About the look
We gave Himani a striped black-and-white shorts-suit with a red bag and red shoes. While making a statement with accessories, stick to solid colours such as red and blue. You could even colour block your look by sporting shoes and a bag in different colours paired with a neutral outfit.
Makeup and hair
Match your pout to your accessories in case of colours like tangerine and red. Keep the base matte and nude, and hair in a slick ponytail to go bolder with your overall look.

Grab a juicy orange
Orange always livens up any outfit and looks just perfect for summer. Go for a blouse, skirt or a pair of trousers to include orange in your look.
About the look
We paired an orange blouse with an abstract floral and geometric pencil skirt. Her nude pumps, bag and bib necklace let the colours in her clothes take centrestage.
Makeup and hair
A tangerine pout and a high bun complete her contemporary work look.

Pair pastels
Brighten up your casual Friday look by pairing pastels. Always go for colours that speak volumes about your personality while deciding your outfit.
About the look
A pair of formal yellow pencil trousers, when paired with a casual, striped linen shirt, makes for a semi-formal look. Matching brogues, a multicoloured bib necklace and an oversized tote complete this outfit.
Makeup and hair
Be your casual best with open hair and bright lips on a nude base to finish off.

Wear colours from the same colour family
Pick different shades from the same colour palette and vary the fabrics—pair cotton with linen, silk with cotton, and so on.
About the look
We played around with an assortment of blues, and fabrics such as polyester, cotton and silk. We love when a pair of culottes is paired with a blazer and feminine accessories. So, pulling off an androgynous look to work is immensely possible, right?
Makeup and hair
Define your jaw line and give your cheeks a healthy glow with a shade of blush that matches your skin tone. Tie your hair in a top knot or a bun for a sharp look.

Use black strategically
Use bold colours to highlight certain parts of your torso. Wear black to slim down or tone the problem areas of your body, using a shirt, jacket or a skirt.
About the look
Himani has an apple-shaped body. We highlighted her best assets, i.e. her long legs, with bold, blue palazzo pants, and paired them with a checked dress that she wore as a shirt—a style hack to keep in mind, girls! We finished off with those killer heels that do her short frame ample justice!
Makeup and hair
Twist your hair from the front and tie it in a low bun. You can opt for red lips if you want a bold clash of colours, else you can always trust in the corals to take you through the day.
