Emma Stone
Bringing her kinda cool to the red carpet, Emma Stone played it classy in a ravishing long-sleeved chartreuse custom Elie Saab shimmer gown with a thigh-high slit. Always experimental in the hair and makeup department, we can’t stop admiring those retro waves (with a bob that too!) and the contrast of that peachy-coral pop on her lips.

Rosamund Pike
Looking just as dangerous as Amazing Amy, Rosamund Pike stunned in a strapless, embroidered, deftly embellished red Givenchy Haute Couture gown (with a dangerously high slit) that hugged her frame. A special mention to that sexy undercut that we all caught a glimpse of thanks to her messy bun.

Lupita Nyong'o
Everyone’s red carpet favourite, Lupita Nyong'o channelled her inner princess in a white, open-backed, custom dress by Calvin Klein. If you thought this sounded too plain, let us zoom in a little – the upper half of her gown was crafted entirely out of pearls! Yes, we know, we took a few minutes to catch our breath too. With minimal makeup and her trademark smile, we can only stand in support of this risky business on the red carpet.

Rita Ora
Trust Rita Ora to wear it big, blue and bold to the Academy Awards! Wearing Marchesa with a trumpet hem and gilded touches, we marvelled at how well her platinum blonde crop complemented the gold embroidery and stitching on her gown. Plus, when was the last time you saw someone wearing navy on the red carpet? Kudos, Rita!

Scarlett Johansson
We can always rely on Scarlett Johansson to keep us entertained – whether she’s doing it in a Woody Allen movie or showing off her fantastic post-baby body on the red carpet. The hot momma nailed her look in an emerald green Atelier Versace gown with a plunging neckline and an equally spectacular necklace to go with it. A special mention for that super bold hairdo.
