Inspired by ‘Sculpt’
Inspired by ‘Sculpt,’ Lakmé’s beauty statement of the season, Anamika Khanna’s collection was characterized by structured drapes in Indian silhouettes complemented by matte lips in deep reds and rich plums, chiseled faces and accentuated hairdos, all crafted by hair and beauty maven Natasha Nischol of the Lakmé Absolute Salon.

Bold yet subtle
Always in favour of black, white, ivory and soft pink, the designer stepped out of her comfort zone by adding in gunmetal and bold blue to her otherwise neutral colour palette. On display was her love or zardosi, thread and metallic work, all intricately placed on saris, skirts, dhotis and jackets – a collection that reflected both, the bold and vulnerable side of a woman.

Showstopper alert
The super sensational showstopper did full justice to the collection with her already sculpted face and prominent pout. Donning a black and gold draped skirt and crop with a bold matte lip and low bun, she looked every bit the glam goddess she really is. It has to be said, there could have been no better way to draw to a close the 15th edition of Lakmé Fashion Week!
