Length

The perfect length for flare cropped jeans is anything above the ankle. There is no defined or set length though. Available in calf, ankle and 3/4th lengths these are best worn with regard to your height. Also this is not specific to denims. The rule applies just as much to any kind of cropped flared pants in any fabric, culottes included.
Hemlines

When it comes to flared ladies jeans, the breath of your hemline and cuts will differ; however when it comes to distressed denims, the hemline is the only distressing you will want. With crop pants and culottes, it is best to keep the hemlines minimal.
Footwear to team with flared jeans

The shoes you wear with your cropped flared jeans/pants can re-define your entire look. The obvious formal choice of shoes with your flared pants is platforms in block heels.
You can opt for neutral sneakers for a more casual look and go for mules and clogs for a semi-formal attire. If you’re going with boots, ensure your culottes don’t overlap them.
Figure flattering

Cropped flared and high-waist jeans can flatter your figure very well if worn with a tucked in shirt or t-shirt. Depending on the occasion you are dressing for you can pick a crop top, a baggy t-shirt or a full sleeve top. For a work look you can wear a polished and structured blouse with leather footwear. You can also team together a crop top with high-waist pants when stepping out for evening drinks.
