Since you’ll be on your toes all day, from one show to another, don’t wear anything that doesn’t reflect your style. Easy, chic separates are a no-fail way to go! A printed shift dress with block heels and a mono-toned big clutch (this fall is all about roomy clutches) would be my go-to outfit. A folksy bohemian print adds flair, and a denim jacket looks polished and classic, especially with a leather skirt and crisp white shirt.

If your style is quirky, make fashion week your experimental ground. If you like an arty look, highlight your boho prints and organic fabrics with exaggerated kajal and flowers in the hair. I’d layer a boxy dress and wear comfortable heels. Pay attention to your hairdo—slept-in tresses should look slept in, not messy. Highlight just one aspect of your makeup—lips, eyes, or dramatic contouring—not everything together.

Comfortable chic is the sartorial mantra for fashion week. Wear classic, coordinated ensembles in the mornings and avoid jazzy details. Neutral shades like beige, black, and grey transition easily into evening. Wear wedges or platforms and carry all you need in a stylish tote. A statement necklace, earrings or embellished clutch will transform you for the final shows in minutes.

Trends are no Bible—pick what you like to combine with your personal style. Roll up your slouchy jeans with a printed cropped top—it’s on-trend and timeless, and oh so comfortable. We love jackets, so add a layer with a long, sheer cover-up. Finish with sneakers, tribal jewellery and messy hair. Some bright lipstick and you’re done!
