Snow globes can take you on a trip to a faraway land, while being firmly seated in your chair. Being the perfect gift for a loved one who has an eye for decor and lifestyle, this snowglobe is so easy to make!

What you need

A jar
5 drops of Glycerin
Water, in proportion to jar
2 tablespoons of Glitter
Waterproof glue
Figurine, depending on what your gift receiver prefers

Start by removing the lid of your jar and laying it flat. Apply a layer of waterproof glue to the inner side of the lid and to the bottom of your figure. Glue both surfaces together and set aside to dry for 4 - 5 hours. Then fill the jar with water upto 60% of the bottle to account for displacement of the water once the figurine is in. Add the glycerine to the water to add viscosity. Once your figurine is dry, apply a layer of glue to the edges of the jar and the rim, twist the lid upside down and seal it shut. Leave it to dry in the same position for a few hours and then turn your jar and over and there you have your snow globe!
