Here we are again, welcoming fall, a season that everybody loves. For some, it’s a much-needed respite from the scorching heat or the incessant monsoon showers, while for some, it’s a time for fresh starts. Cooped up at our homes for far too long to remember now, a trickle of excitement has already set in as we slowly begin to venture out (with caution and face mask, ofc!) to meet friends, go to work or hit the salon for that much-needed self-care (read: haircare) session.
And if getting a new haircut is on your wishlist, let us give you some COOL fall 2021 haircut trends to try.
1. Get the layers

If you’re a self-proclaimed snob who doesn’t like chopping her hair to short lengths, a fresh layer haircut will do the magic for you. Without sacrificing the length, ask your hairstylist to add edgy, long layers that give your hair some structure and natural bounce.
2.Pixie cut

The pixie cut has many variations. It is primarily a short-length haircut; it can be done with full, choppy ends on the crown with tapered edges on the sides. Some also feature uneven bangs on the front with an overall short haircut and razored sides for a femme fatale look. For the right fall haircut mood, you could add some colour to your hair, too – think peppy purple, pink, reds or browns.
3.Curtain bangs

Curtain bangs are getting some hot attention, RN! Perfect as a fall haircut, this variation of bangs is super-manageable and can be grown out effortlessly. The best thing is that, unlike shorter bangs, you get to decide your preferred length for curtain bangs. For fall, a long, tapered fringe that can be worn on middle and side-parted hair and can be styled on open and tied-up hair is your best bet.
4. Crop bob

If you love experimenting and don’t care about going short, then bookmark this cute fall haircut, crop bob. This haircut skims your jawline while contouring it and has a very fine hint of layers that give an extra oomph to your look.
5. Bring back shags

The 70’s cool-kid hairstyle has been upgraded for fall 2021, and it’s dubbed as the modern shag haircut. Some heavy, face-framing blunt bangs teamed with choppy layers on the lengths of your hair gets the right kind of volume and texture to your look. And we swear, it’s a great way to make a statement without looking too OTT.
