Truly, if there is one way to kick off the festivities—there is literally no one better to do it than the absolutely smashing Sushmita Sen. No exaggeration when we say this was hands-down one of the highlights of fashion week.

We were certainly taken by surprise when the svelte star walked for Queen of Quirk Masaba Gupta. But rocking her prints and drool-worthy Amrapali jewellery—it was a surprise we didn’t mind, not one bit.

In possibly our favourite show of the season—was the absolutely stunning Jacqueline Fernandez. Even if we tried we couldn’t find you a fault here.

Bringing traditional handlooms a modern was courtship Anavila and no one brought the sentiment of the brand alive like Konkona Sen Sharma.

Pouting, posing and exuding oomph by the bucket-load was the very sexy Nargis Fakri. She just gets it right every time, doesn’t she?

As River Island launches in India through Jabong—there was no one better to fit the role of young, glamorous and full of spunk than Kirti Sanon of Heropanti fame.

We loved the earthy tones, structured silhouettes and ethnic embellishments on Shriya Saran as she walked for Sashikant Naidu.

Sonal Chauhan rocked the mirror work and passa at Purvi Doshi’s fashion show—and we’ve got our eye on those statement accessories.

In a signature Sonakshi Raaj creation was Maliaka Arora Khan.

A change from his generally heavily embellished couture pieces—Priyanka Chopra rocked the curly bob as she walked as the show-stopper for Varun Bahl.

The ornate bride: Bipasha Basu for Varun Bahl.

No fashion week is complete without this beauty. We loved as she mouthed “well done” to Vikram Phadnis as he took his final bow. Truly a lady with class.

She dazzled, she glossed and she set the ramp on fire. There is no one like Kareena Kapoor Khan and when she joins forces with Manish Malhotra—we’re left weak in the knees.
And with that my friends, I’ll call it a wrap.
