Sofia Vergara opted for an elegant Roberto Cavalli white strapless mermaid dress. And as usual managed to look divine in this fitted number.

Can someone please tell us just how Julia Roberts manages to look so stunning absolutely anywhere she goes? Resplendent in this midnight blue, beaded Elie Saab Couture dress, she proved she is still very much, ‘America’s Sweetheart’. And with that million dollar smile stealing the show as usual, she was wise to keep her make-up minimal.

Crop tops don’t seem to be losing their charm, but we have to say that till we saw Sarah Hyland’s Christian Siriano creation, we didn’t quite believe you could pull off a red carpet look wearing one. But she does it beautifully and just look at that refreshing, unusual colour of her billowy skirt!

Debra Messing cut a pretty picture in her graphic Angel Sanchez gown. And that sapphire cocktail ring from Chopard lent just the right touch of glam to her ensemble.

This orange Prada dress that Kerry Washington sported definitely made it to our best dressed list. And how stunning is that underlying crystal-studded, navy mini skirt that you get a glimpse of? Finally, the smokey blue eyeshadow added even more drama to her already memorable outfit.

When you opt to wear a Falguni and Shane Peacock outfit, you know you’re going to turn heads. And that’s just what Yael Stone did in her bold dress with its corset top and flowy skirt.

Another eternally stunning looking star, Halle Berry flaunted those perfect pins in a mauve Elie Saab dress with a thigh-high slit. We love.

If you thought peplum was oh-so-last-season, you need to see how pretty The Big Bang Theory’s Kaley Cuoco looked in her dreamy, strapless Monique Lhuillier dress. The unusual pink-and-red pairing and delicate tulle skirt made for an adorable look.

Lucy Liu looked ethereal in an ivory Zac Posen dress with its delicate detailing and wispy layers trailing behind her. We especially love how she kept the look so elegant with no accessories apart from a Jimmy Choo clutch and Lorraine Schwartz earrings.

We loved Hayden Panettiere’s shimmering blush-and-silver Lorena Sarbu gown with its dazzling sequins that was only rivalled by the pretty glow the mum-to-be sported.

This siren red Prabal Gurung dress that January Jones sported is one of our absolute favourite looks by far. With its voluminous skirt and raised hem that showed a glimpse of those strappy sandals paired with that bold lip, we covet just about everything about this look.

Michelle Dockery more than earned her fashion stripes in this Rosie Assoulin creation. The white mid-riff baring dress with its pink, green and blue panels was a stunner for sure.

Kate Walsh definitely lit up the red carpet with her sunshine Stephane Rolland gown. She paired it with a Jimmy Choo clutch, Stuart Weitzman shoes and Chopard jewels and looked absolutely impeccable.
