We absolutely love Dermalogica's extensive range of products that work for oily skin, sensitive skin, ageing skin, dry skin, combination skin… Well, you get the drift.
The brand's commitment to developing skin-friendly products that are free of common skin irritants like mineral oils, fragrances, and artificial colours is a blessing for everyone who cares about their skin’s health. Dermalogica uses some pretty fantastic ingredients in their products, too, BTW! My personal favourite is the Dermalogica Multi-Active Toner, which contains cucumber, lavender, and aloe, and works as a refreshing dose of moisture for the skin. But enough about me. After founding the International Dermal Institute, the multi-hyphenate founded Dermalogica in 1986 right after. And her story is nothing short of inspiring. After starting out as a salon apprentice at the young age of 13, the skin therapist went on to build her own unique multi-million dollar brand that has trained over 1,00,000 skin therapists worldwide. Plus, she believes in giving! She's also a huge believer in promoting entrepreneurship and champions entrepreneurship in young girls worldwide through her initiative, FITE, or Financial Independence Through Entrepreneurship. "I believe in being the entrepreneur of our own lives!" she exclaims. "That means living your biggest life, finding what it is that you really love to do and that it makes a difference to other people."
