As mango lovers, consuming it in any form makes us happy. And thanks to the soaring temperatures, we’ve found yet another way to deal with the heat courtesy this yummy fruit. This summer, make yourself some refreshing mango cocktails and mocktails for various occasions! Treat a bunch of friends with these drinks or just sit back and relish them on a hot sunny afternoon.

The morning pick-me-up

There’s nothing as refreshing as a glass of chilled lassi in the summers, right? And when it’s prepared with mango, it becomes all the more exciting. Adding this one to your breakfast could be a good bet.

To make this, you need 100 gms of fresh mango, 150 gms yoghurt, 20 gms mango pulp, 30 ml sugar syrup, a pinch of chilli powder to garnish. Add all of these into a blender and serve at room temperature or chilled. So refreshing!

The brunch refresher

If you’re going to have a boring lunch but want something refreshing and powerful as a drink before that, go for this mango colada, which is rich in Vitamin C and fibre.

You need ½ cup of unsweetened mango juice, ½ cup mango cubes, ¼ cup coconut milk, 1 tbsp lime juice and a cup of crushed ice. Combine all this in a blender and blend until smooth and thick. Yummy and nutritious, what’s not to love in this one!

The ladies’ night chiller

Having a sleepover with the girls? Try this Vodka-based mango cocktail!

All you need is 30 ml of fresh mango puree, 60 ml of vodka, 30 ml of fresh lime juice and 60 ml chilled soda. Take a mixing glass and pour all the ingredients and blend. Add ice and blend again. Pour into a glass and garnish with a few mango slices and voila, you and your friends are ready for this heavenly cocktail.

The ultimate party cooler

Have guests over but don’t want to serve the same old drinks? Go for this yummy rum-based mango punch that your guests are sure to love.

You need 2 ½ mangoes to be peeled and cubed, 120 ml of rum, 4 cups of fresh pineapple juice. Puree the mangoes along with rum and ½ cup water in a blender. Add pineapple juice and mix it all before serving chilled.
