Papaya and beetroot smoothie
Do your body a favour and make yourself a papaya-beetroot smoothie now! Papaya is a great source of fiber, Vitamin A and Vitamin C. Moreover, it contains glucose that’s a simple sugar easily digested by the body thereby providing you with energy. Glucose is the source of energy for your brain and nervous system and is sure to make you work smarter and faster. Beetroot contains significant amounts of carbohydrates that provide fuel for energy, that too without any side effects that is usually the case in several other carb-heavy foods. Moreover, beetroot increases the oxygen uptake in the body, which helps build stamina.
Make this smoothie: Peel one beetroot, one papaya and add two tablespoons of plain yoghurt. Blend all of this together and enjoy!

Banana and blueberry smoothie
Much like papayas, bananas contain fructose, which the body uses to produce glucose. This acts as a fuel for the brain and keeps you energised. Blueberries are known to be energy-boosting foods because they contain high amounts of carbohydrates. These are not the kind of carbs found in white breads and sodas. These are complex carbohydrates that stay in your system for a while thereby giving you energy for a longer time. So this is the kind of smoothie that works wonders for runners and fitness enthusiasts.
Make this smoothie: In three fourths of a cup of water add half a banana peeled and frozen and half a cup of frozen blueberries. Place all of this into a blender and blend it well till you reach the desired consistency.

Apple pie smoothie
Apples contain proteins, fats and carbohydrates such as sugar and starch. The body processes these nutrient molecules into adenosine triphosphate or ATP—the energy carrying molecule in the body. So the next time you’re feeling lethargic, have this super energy smoothie and see the difference.
Make this smoothie: One apple peeled and cut into chunks, half a cup of yoghurt, 1/4th teaspoon vanilla extract, a tablespoon of honey, 1/4th teaspoon ground cinnamon and a pinch of nutmeg. Add all of the contents into a blender till desired consistency is achieved. Sprinkle some cinnamon on top and you have your energy drink ready!
