Basic tees are undoubtedly comfortable but they can get a bit boring and monotonous after a while. Which is why, we decided to give our favourite basic white tee a quick upgrade with a printed DIY pocket. Here how you follow suit for an equally fashionable upgrade...

For this DIY you will need

Step 3

Cut a piece out from the printed fabric an inch or two bigger to that of the cardboard. Paste glue on the edges of the fabric and the cardboard and stick the cloth by folding the hems on the inside to create a pocket. Go for an aztec or vintage wallpaper print fabric to lend a trendy twist.

Stick the pocket on the tee and let it dry for a while. Iron well and you have a brand new tee to call your own.

Wear it with just about anything- jeans, skirts or even with your dungarees. Just make sure there’s nothing else too loud you’re wearing to overpower your DIY.
