1. Measure them

Before you begin shaping your eyebrows, it’s really important to measure them. You could start by holding a recently sharpened end of a brow pencil vertically right above your nostril and against the bridge of your nose— the point on your forehead the pencil is over, is where your eyebrow should start. After this, slightly rotate the brow pencil in such a way that it rests on the outer edge of your nostril, but extends to the outer corner of your eye— this is ideally where the tail of your eyebrow should end. Now that you know where your brows should begin and end, you’ll know what area needs to be worked on. You should note that area between the two points you marked with the help of your brow pencil, should be the most lush, which means you should refrain from over-tweezing this area.
2. Tweeze them conservatively
After you’ve measured your brows and know where they’re to end and begin, you can go ahead and tweeze them. Be sure to tweeze all stray hair towards your ears, as well as the hair below your eyebrows— but make sure to pluck them in the direction of the growth. However, don’t be overzealous— you may come to dread it. While you’re tweezing your brows, keep your features in mind— if you’ve got sharp features, go for softer arches.
3. Fill them in

After plucking your brows, you may find the need to fill in some gaps. You could do this with the help of a brow pencil. Start at the tail of your eyebrow, and then—with a light hand— create soft, short strokes out towards your temples— it’s almost like creating a cat eye, as this method calls for you to create gentle flicks. Then, with less pressure, work your way towards the bridge of your nose. After you’ve done this, use a spoolie brush to blend the product. Although black may seem like the right colour to use; it may be too stark. That’s why a dark brown eyebrow pencil is your best bet.
4. Make sure they’ve been set
To make sure your brows stay in place while you’re out and about, grab some hairspray and mist your spoolie brush with it. Then, comb your eyebrows with the spoolie at a 45-degree angle to make sure they’re shaped well. Not only will this prevent your brows from looking messy during the course of the day, but will also define them.
