Before you begin… Pinch your cheeks or observe the colour of your cheeks when you’re just back from a workout; that’s their natural colour and the one that will suit you best

Fair Skin
If you’re pale or fair skinned, blush adds health and colour to your face.
Apricot and rose pink shades work well for fairer skin tones by giving them a natural flush without looking too made up. For a night out, you can keep the same shades but add some sparkle with a highlighter.
We recommend: The Lakmé Absolute Face Stylist Blush Duos in Coral Blush for the day and the Lakmé 9 to 5 Blush in Peach Affair.

Wheatish
While fair skin might be the most sought after, it’s the girls with wheatish skin that are the luckiest. This skin tone can carry off the most number of colours when it comes to blush. Corals, peaches and darker shades of pink give wheatish skin an instant pick-me-up without seeming too out of place. If you feel like experimenting you can even try shades of orange but make sure the rest of your face stays neutral.
We recommend: The Lakmé Absolute Cheek Chromatic Baked Blusher in Day Blushes and Lakmé 9 to 5 Pure Rouge Blusher in Ginger Surprise.

Dark Skin
There’s no magic that blush can’t work even when it comes to dark skin. Deeper shades of plum, pink and mauve can add warmth to your face and give it the pop it requires. If you’re looking for a stark contrast that can be instantly spotted, don’t be afraid to try a blush that’s closer to a shade of red.
We recommend: The Lakmé Absolute Cheek Chromatic Baked Blusher in Day Sheer and the Lakmé 9 to 5 Pure Rouge Blusher in Rose Crush.
