Take advantage of the aforementioned skin tightening ability by preparing a green tea facial scrub. Combine green tea with granulated sugar and water for an excellent exfoliating scrub. It smells lovely, is light on the skin and gives you an incredible glow. Don’t forget to store it in the fridge to keep it fresh.

Combine equal amounts of baking soda and green tea along with some honey for a soothing facial mask that rejuvenates your skin. Heading out for a date but don’t have time to hit the salon? Run the tea bag over hot water to get it steaming. Squeeze out most of the water and rub the bag over your face for a few minutes for an insta glow.

A green tea hair rinse makes your hair go from pretty to stunning and shiny. Steep a few green tea bags in boiling water for 15 minutes and then let it cool overnight. Pour this water onto freshly washed hair and leave it on for at least 10 minutes. Rinse your hair off with shampoo and condition later.

Our green tea of choice is the Lipton Green Tea but once we’re done drinking it, we don’t toss the bags away. Instead, we cool them and place them over each of our eyes for ultimate relief. Turns out, green tea contains tannin, an astringent that shrinks skin. The cool tea bags will reduce the swelling around your eyes and tighten the skin there, making you look and feel fabulous.
