Ambience
The ramp was transformed into a cobblestone path taking you to an exotic destination wedding.
Music
The peppy music was fitting for a super-relaxed holiday on a sun-kissed beach.
Makeup and hair
The models, in typical French style, wore bangs and opted for softer nude makeup, since the outfits made quite a statement by themselves.

What we loved
Monisha Jaising reimagined the iconic Brigitte Bardot who soaks up the sun, has fun on the beach and is free-spirited. She begins her lazy day with her girl pals with a long, decadent brunch, for which she dons a wide-brimmed hat, a cable-knit jumper and a pair of ’70s embellished bell-bottoms.
That's followed by a high tea, where she rocks a sequinned and beaded mini dress. As the caviar-soaked day comes to an end, she steps out in a goddessy embellished gown for the big night on the town. The queen of kurtis sent out minis, which came in a sunny palette of yellow, green and blue with placement-oriented mirror work.

The cut-out gowns have been the MJ insignia, and she presented an array of one-shoulder gowns, racer-back dresses and halters with the heavy zardozi bands. The well-cut maroon and bottle green sequinned blazers with denims added to the ready-to-wear aspect of the show, of which the white tabard dress with gold accent was the high point.

Who is the Monisha Jaising woman?
She is a luxurista who has a mind of her own and likes to put together her own look by mixing and matching. She's not scared of experimenting and always wants to make a statement. She and her entourage of bridesmaids want to have fun at the wedding and look for an ensemble that allows movement and freedom.
What could have been better…
Wish she had shown more of day pieces like jumpers, T-shirts and skirts.

Showstopper
Ujjwala Raut took to the ramp wreaking a multi-sensory assault in a sheer net, crystal-drenched, long-sleeved gown.
