Monochrome

With black and white returning to bridal fashion this year, you have plenty of reasons to give up colour. We are in love with this Anju Modi saree and are rethinking cluttering up this stunning look with any accessories. Minimal is key here but with a red pout to add that touch of glam.

Floral print

We love this light take on bridal fashion. Florals spell elegance and are easy to wear. Anushree Reddy gave the print a new dimension by blending in zari work in her ghagra choli at the Lakmé Fashion Week. All you need is a pair of heels and a statement piece of jewellery to rock the print.

No low necks

Blouses, cholis, dresses all had one thing in common – We didn’t spot any low necklines. We are lusting over this lovely one from Anita Dongre in matte gold! Big statement earrings or a bib necklace are enough to accessorise this trend.

Dhoti

Bridal fashion got chic this fashion week with the dhoti trend. Dhoti sarees, dhoti pants, and dhoti dresses, it was style and comfort all the way. Divya Sheth gave the bridal dhoti a twist with this kurta. We would love to pair this with sky high heels and costume jewellery.

Mirror work

Purvi Doshi embraced Indian culture with mirror work and we give this one a big thumbs up. We would team it with oxidised jewellery and smokey eyes. Whether you are wearing this trend with a saree or ghagra choli make sure you accessorise with a maang tika.
