Wedding Wire
A handy tool for all brides-to-be, the Wedding Wire app serves as a holistic wedding planner to help you keep a tab on everything that needs to be done for your wedding. You can browse venues, look at templates of wedding invites, view and shortlist wedding couture according to your preference and even create a registry (a concept Indian couples are now warming up to.) The app even serves as a space to have discussions with newlyweds (already registered on the App), schedule appointments as well as make to-do lists that are then synced with your calendar to ensure your personal wedding planning machine is running at 100 per cent efficiency.
The Upside: Super easy to use and has excellent geo-targetting to give you customised results.
The Downside: Some of the features aren’t supported by the app and lead you to the microsite.

Eversnap
Everyone has a photographer at the wedding and everyone knows how those photos turn out. But what if you could see your wedding from your grandaunt’s, little cousin’s or any other guest’s perspective? Eversnap is a photo-centric app that allows everyone present at the wedding to share photos automatically onto a private album viewable only to you and your family. So how does this work? When you register on Eversnap, you are given a unique album code and a certain number of Eversnap instruction cards (along with the album code) that you can place in your wedding invitations. Guests can then use the album code to access the album and add photos to it throughout all your wedding functions. Sounds fantastic, doesn’t it?
The Upside: You don’t have to rely on just one main photographer; and you get to see your wedding through the eyes of everyone who was present there.
The Downside: While the app is free, you would need to sign up and pay a certain amount according to the plans provided to use it for your wedding.

Appy Couple
One of the cutest and most well designed wedding apps we’ve come across so far, Appy Couple allows you to see your wedding through from start to finish, but only once you’ve finalised the details yourself. Couples can create their wedding profile, tell the story of how they met (since it will be shared with all your family and friends and who would say no to a good love story, eh?), create a countdown for the wedding, introduce all the key family members, provide locations and directions to reach the venue and even allows guests to share pictures of the wedding as well has the option of letting everyone else leave their comments on the same. A perfect social space for you and your wedding party, this comes highly recommended.
The Upside: Works very much like a storytelling app and is extremely user friendly.
The Downside: Not too wedding planning focussed but more focussed on the social media aspects and will be of good use only once you have chalked out the important details.
