A photographer with artistic inclinations, Riddhi's fashion photo series is titled 'Caprice'. Shot in Mathura, this fashion shoot and photo essay comes with a feminist twist.

Caprice, the photo series revolves around the artist’s version of a warrior princess set against the backdrop of Mathura.

Artist’s statement:
“My vision for this story was that of a princess warrior. I shot this in Mathura using the architecture and the landscapes of Mathura as a backdrop to add depth to the story. The looks were meant to depict a strong personality, that of a princess warrior’s, with a hint of feminism.”

The authenticity of the shoot lies in the fact that the clothes are handmade, using only local materials available. This location being the birthplace of Lord Krishna, the gold embroidered vest featured in the photograph is made of laces and shringar items(clothes and material used to decorate the god) to give it an authentic Mathura touch.
