When it comes to modern femininity, Oscar de la Renta can do no wrong. Making it one of the best New York Fashion Week shows that was, the inspirational design house put out a slew of feminine touches and breathtaking ball gowns with a robust colour palette of crimsons and merlots.

Highlight #2 - Yeezy makes a statement

If there’s one individual who knows how to make a statement, it’s Yeezus. It isn’t news that Kanye’s Yeezy show wasn’t centred around the clothing. Madison Square Garden was packed to the rafters with an audience who witnessed stoic models all over the stadium as the rapper’s new album ‘The Life Of Pablo’ played for the first time at the show.
Highlight #1 - Jeremy Scott does kitschy

True to his form, Jeremy Scott brought kitsch to the runway in the best way he knew how. While he has previously centred his collections over McDonald’s fries and spray cans, this time he chose to make a statement with the popular cartoon characters Ren & Stimpy and space prints over a bed of whimsical colours.
