A Lot Like Love

Seven years is what it takes for a relationship to turn from lust to friendship to love—and with an added bonus: you’ve got the gorgeous Ashton Kutcher and Amanda Peet playing love birds. Truly the perfect romcom to enjoy with your pals.
Yeh Jawani Hai Deewaani

Maybe it’s the Ranbir fan-girl in us, the fun music, or the fact that this is actually one of our favourite rom coms of recent times, we simply can’t help ourselves watching and recording this movie every time it airs on TV. A perfect flick to watch with your favourite bunch of fan-girls.
Tumhari jaisi ladki flirting ke liye nahi, ishq ke liye bani hai #HeartMelt Everytime.
Pan’s Labyrinth

Full of fairies, imps, monsters, kings, queens, and princesses—this one’s a keeper. Truly one of the best fairy-tales for adults, you and your girls will be more than grateful for this gem.
Memento

Christopher Nolan’s classic is best watched alone so you can rewind and re-watch at your leisure. This is the original film that the Aamir Khan starrer Ghajini was loosely based on. A man, suffering from short-term memory loss, uses notes and tattoos to hunt the man he thinks killed his wife. Trust us, this is a must-watch that will leave you with goosebumps the size of gooseberries !
Kahaani

Travel with Vidya Balan from London to Kolkata searching for her missing husband. Only Ms. Balan can act so convincingly that it’s almost embarrassing how into the story you can get! This is why this movie is best seen alone, and you can whole-heartedly embrace your emotions!
Marley and Me

Sure, it seems just like every other movie where a family learns real life lessons from a neurotic dog, but Jennifer Aniston and Owen Wilson sure know how to milk it. You’ll be crying so hard that your eyes might just fall out, but it’s all totally worth it. Watch it alone so not everyone is privy to some serious mascara runnage.
Notting Hill

After all…I’m just a girl, standing in front of a boy, asking him to love her—sure, it’s done to death, but this Julia Roberts and Hugh Grant starrer never gets old. Reminisce with your favourite friend, and you’ll be left feeling all warm and fuzzy.
Chocolat

Who better than your BFF to OD on Johnny Depp and chocolate with? Watch on to see chocolate weave its magic as passions are unleashed, jealousies aroused and gentle havoc ensues. You and fellow watchers will be left drooling for more.
Kuch Kuch Hota Hai

A cult classic. Some thought that ‘cool’ necklace hanging on King Khan was silly, others drooled over SRK’s accessories. Like it or hate it, this movie sure does take us down memory lane. Jump on the band-wagon for some serious KJO-inspired giggles and tears, meant to be enjoyed only with your bestest friends.
Blue Valentine

Contrary to popular belief, Blue Valentine is when most girls fell in love with Ryan Gosling, not The Notebook. Cutting across different time periods, this love story gives real insight into romance. Since it’s a little blue around the edges, it doesn’t hurt to have the comforting arms of your love to soothe those tears. And trust us, it’s going to pour.
Ishqiya

With an excellent plot, fantastic performances and a scintillating music score, this makes for a great get-away-from-it-all flick to enjoy with your honey. What’s more, the chemistry between the leads is nothing short of scorching. That the climax is unpredictable is just the cherry atop a well-baked cake! Makes for great viewing with your other half.
Tangled

Frying pans…who knew right?! With c hameleons, ruffians, thugs, towers, flowers and crowns galore, there really isn’t anything you can’t love in this movie. Flynn Rider (played by Zachary Levi) sure can smoulder and Mandy Moore makes for a convincingly frustrated Rapunzel who can belt it out in one of our all-time favourite animated flicks.
